Achilles Paparsenos, M.D.
Physician & Founder of Bucks Thyroid & Endocrine Care

Dr. Achilles Paparsenos grew up in New Jersey, the son of an immigrant father from Greece.  He received his Medical Degree at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.  He later went to New York City where he did his Internal Medicine residency at Beth Israel Medical Center and later his Endocrinology fellowship at St. Vincent Hospital.  Afterward he and his wife Jennifer moved to Bucks County.  They have two daughters.  Dr. Paparsenos practiced Endocrinology in the Philadelphia area for over 8 years before he founded Bucks Thyroid & Endocrine Care here in Yardley.

Dr. P’s main focus is always on the patient’s experience with disease.  Listening and understanding his patients is always his first priority.  He stays on the cutting edge of endocrine care and uses an evidence-based approach, but he always shares the medical decision making with his patients.  For these reasons education is a mainstay of his practice.  He has extended this dedication to teaching young doctors in training in the area.

Dr. P is board-certified in endocrinology.  Further, he holds an Endocrine Certification in Neck Ultrasonagraphy (ECNU).  Beyond his interest in thyroid and parathyroid disease, Dr. P has had special experience in hypogonadism, transgender medicine, and diabetes.
